Safe Use Guidelines of Grinding Wheel
ReplyDeleteGrinding Wheel is a high-speed operation abrasive tool, so that the use of the grinding wheel tightly related to the safety of the people! Hence, when using, Safe Use Guidelines of the Grinding Wheel must be observed. Or else, some dangerous accidents will happen! This passage will talk about the Safe Use Guidelines of the Grinding Wheel from the following three points: 1.The Transportation and Safekeeping of the Grinding Wheel; 2. Safe use of the Grinding Wheel; 3. Grinding Wheel Speed.
Guideline1—— The Transportation and Safekeeping
of the Grinding Wheel
（1） When transporting and carrying, the grinding wheel should be handled with care, and the heavy pressure will not be allowed to stop the Grinding Wheel from shaking and collision. Moreover, the action of letting the grinding wheel rolling on the floor also is prohibited.
（2） After receiving the grinding wheel, the users should carefully examine whether there’s breach and other damages, and also seriously check whether the trademark and other marks on the surface of the Grinding Wheel is correct, clear and complete?
（3） The warehouse, which the grinding wheels are stored, should keep dry and avoid dampness, being frozen and too high temperature! The indoor temperature shouldn’t be lower to 5 Celsius degree.
（4） When grinding wheels being piled up, the height of the stack usually is less than 1.5meters. When the thin grinding wheels are stored, the deformation should be prevented!
Guideline 2-Safe Use of the Grinding Wheel
Part I. Before using:
(1) Before starting the grinder, the staff should check whether the protective equipment is adapted to the right place and firm;
(2) The protective cover being used should cover at least one half of the diameter of the grinding wheel;
(3) After fixing the grinding wheel on the spindle of the grinder, make the grinding wheel idle at first and at least 5 minutes should last! When idling, the operator should stand in the safe place, and the behavior to stand in front of the grinding wheel or in the tangent direction of the grinding wheel should be prohibited!
Part II. During using:
(1) When using the outer circle surface of the grinding wheel as the working surface, strictly forbid to use the profile to grind to stop the grinding wheel from being fragmented.
(2) During the grinding process, the action of using the lever to push the work-piece to increase the pressure on grinding wheel is prohibited.
(3) When having the grinding process or dressing the grinding wheel, the suitable amount of feed and the specialized dressing tools to dress the grinding wheel are all necessary! In the meanwhile, the protective tool should be worn!
(4) Before grinding wheel stopping revolving, the coolant should be closed, and then grinding wheel continues to revolve until there is no coolant, in fear of affecting the balance property of the grinding wheel.
(5) Forbid to use the grinding fluid, which has destructive effect on the bond of the abrasive tool! Also, the action to use the coolant in the place, which the temperature is under the 5 Celsius degree is not allowed.
Guideline3- Grinding Wheel Speed
The operation speed of the resin, metal bond grinding wheels should keep in the 25-35m/s, the vitrified grinding wheel should keep in 35-60m/s, and the electro-plated grinding wheel speed is far higher than the above three kinds of grinding wheel! However, no matter which kind of bond of grinding wheel, when operating the grinding wheel, the speed all should be lower to the maximum speed of this kind of bond of grinding wheel!
